Agricultural Center of the lower part of
Cilento, Paestum is
currently one of the most famous
archaeological centers.
The plant of the cinta
building is the pentagonal and it has
four huge Doors, among
which the most interesting is
Doors Marina.
The three Gilded temples constitute the best
architectural complex
of the Great Greece , of which
the most ancient is the Basilica
while the most fascinating is
the Posidone .
Other architectural remains
are: the
Foro , some urban districts
and mainly the
rests of many religious buildings
, from which originated
a lot of graven metopes,
currently preserved in the
Museum of Paestum.
